Who We Are
Tim Brooks
PresidentTim is President of Corporate Benefit Solutions, located in Coppell, Texas, and has been since its purchase in 1993. He graduated from Howard Payne University in 1974 and worked as a school teacher and youth minister in the church until 1978 at which time he entered the insurance business and employee benefit communications arena.
Tim brings valuable experience to the enrollment and communication process with 36 years of experience in the field. His organizational skills insure the success of the benefit products enrollment in all areas including communication, set-up, scheduling, and post enrollment procedures. These include employer service in areas of payroll start up and carrier interface.
In addition to having run the largest enrollment company in the nation, Tim has valuable experience on the New Business and Administration side of the employer-sponsored worksite market. For three years he managed the mass marketing service and administration for Lincoln National Life, and accomplished the coordination of its entire movement from Dallas, Texas to Ft. Wayne, Indiana in 1990.
Tim has served in every aspect of the enrollment business, having worked as a Case Enroller, Lead Enroller, Account Executive and Vice President of Enrollment Operations. He has a wide range of enrollment experience from small cases with one hundred employees to enrolling fifty thousand life cases on an annual basis for the last twenty years. Client industries include factory, mining, manufacturing, hospitals, schools districts, universities, county and state governments, including the State of Texas and aerospace corporations. His enrollments have required bilingual communication including Spanish, Vietnamese, and Portuguese.
Charlie Brooks
Vice PresidentCharlie Brooks is Vice President of Marketing for Corporate Benefit Solutions. He graduated from the University of Arizona in 1972 with a double major in math and government law. He served his country as a fighter pilot in the United States Air Force from 1972 to 1977.
Charlie Brooks has 37 years of experience supervising employer sponsored benefit programs. This includes 37 years of experience of on-site enrollment and 30 years experience working with corporations and insurance companies in such areas as product design, product development, payroll interface and plan administration. His experience includes both qualified and non qualified product enrollments. He is currently Vice President of Marketing at Corporate Benefit Solutions.
Charlie served as Vice President of Marketing for the worksite marketing divisions of Frank B. Hall Benefit Consulting, dba Corporate Benefit Systems and Lincoln National Life and as a benefit consultant for a number of Fortune 500 companies. His product experience covers both Employee Retirement Programs including 401(k), 403 (b) and 457 plans and all worksite employee benefit products. He is also responsible for the Section 125 Administration division of CBS.
Career clients include Northrop-Grumman Corporation, Lockheed Aerospace, Cooper Industries, Safeway Food Stores, Wachovia Bank Corporation, Carolina Steel, American Furniture, Baylor University, Bexar County Hospital District, MD Anderson Cancer Network and The National Breast Cancer Foundation.

We do not partner with carriers promoting national sales bonus contracts, large expenditures in advertising and high agent distribution costs, or other outside considerations. Our concerns are products that fit an individual company’s needs – high product benefit value at the lowest cost, the ability to provide our clients a group rate, guarantee issue for all family members, and stability of product.
